Our client, a world leader in self-adhesive and industrial labeling products, saw an opportunity to expand its reach into the excess materials market.
In addition to their brick-and-mortar outlet, our client wanted to create an online resource where surplus materials could be bought and sold in a self-service and secure online environment.
WHITTMANHART initiated the project with an extensive brand assessment. WHITTMANHART named the online marketplace and also developed the logotype.

Because buyers and sellers would be able to set up self-service accounts on the site, the technical requirements demanded a very complex, back-end integrated system, with high security and logistic considerations. Site design and content were developed to provide an intuitive buying or selling process that extended our client's brand experience, thus providing our client's customers a confident, secure experience.
From what had been surplus material loss to the company, the new online marketplace provided our client a unique market opportunity and generated new revenue stream opportunities from a previously untapped market.
