Designed and developed an online application to enhance user experience
Background
Our client, one of the world's largest financial institutions serving more than ten million active users with award-winning online banking services, recognized the need to improve the user interface and online brand of its public Web site.
Challenge
The company had three distinct user audiences. It needed a visual design and architecture that would be applicable to all audiences as well as advance its brand. In addition, our client wanted to provide an elegant and engaging online experience to enable consumers to compare the features and attributes of up to four credit card products at a time.
Solution
WHITTMANHART devised a compelling, intuitive Flash™ MX application that enables consumers to quickly select and compare cards with none of the constraints of a "form and submit" button experience. The Flash application can be dynamically populated with an ever-changing array of credit card products and information completely externally, with no required changes to the Flash application itself.
Results
The prototype's interface and functionality offers clear navigation, well-organized user options, and a memorable and enjoyable visual design. User testing provided feedback that was extremely positive.
