The Color Visualizer is a unique rich media application integrated into the Sherwin-Williams website. It successfully brings together WHITTMANHART strategy, information architecture and visual design work with leading-edge technologies from Adobe® Flex™ and Scene 7™. With this combination of design and technology, the Color Visualizer offers exceptional usability with immediate rendering speed to deliver a visual experience that is as technologically close to visiting a store as possible.

By clicking on the Color Visualizer visitors can “paint” the interior or exterior of a house. Along with paint colors, visitors can also choose from multiple interior rooms or exterior architectural styles to help them visualize their finished project. Visitors can choose different colors for walls, trim, ceiling and accents. Coordinating shades are suggested, or visitors can choose their own color scheme from the available pallet of Sherwin-Williams colors. Once completed online, the “painted” room and all the associated Sherwin-Williams product information can be printed and taken to a local Sherwin-Williams store, where customers can purchase all of the products necessary to complete their project.
